I wanted to call your attention to an article in the Boston Globe last week about Open Source Science. I’ve had a couple of conversations about this topic recently, and I think the general consensus is that it’s going to shake up the way things are done, but it’s inevitable. Publication cycles are too long, and rapid dissemination of information is just part of the culture in the younger generation.
